High Heart Reiki is committed to being a welcoming, inclusive space for all people - regardless of ability, identity, or background. This statement covers both the digital accessibility of this website and the physical accessibility of my practice.
Visiting the Studio
High Heart Reiki is a home-based practice located at 7 Old New Street, Lakeville, MA 02347.
Here is what to expect when you arrive:

Parking is available in the dedicated space in front of the garage

Entry to the studio is step-free, via a short path through the grass and over a stone/gravel path

The treatment room is on the ground level - no stairs required to access your session

The restroom requires navigating a spiral staircase and is not wheelchair or mobility-aid accessible. I encourage clients to plan accordingly before arriving, and I'm happy to discuss alternatives if needed.

The treatment table is a standard height and is not currently height-adjustable. I do not currently have a chair available for clients who are unable to lie on a table. If you have concerns about this, please reach out before booking so we can discuss options together.

Additional pillows and supports are available to help you find the most comfortable position during your session.
Sensory & Neurodivergent Accessibility
I want every client to feel genuinely comfortable in this space, not just accommodated. Here is what I can offer:

Lighting can be fully on, fully off, or anywhere in between - just let me know your preference.

Scent - I can ensure no essential oils or scented products are used during your session if you have sensitivities or preferences. Please mention this when booking or reaching out ahead of time.

Sound - music or ambient sound volume can be raised, lowered, or turned off entirely based on your preference.

Touch - hands-on or hands-hovering options are always available. Your comfort with touch is always respected and never assumed.

Communication - if you have specific needs around how I communicated before, during, or after your session, I welcome that conversation. There is no one-size-fits-all approached here.
Digital Accessibility
This website is built on Wix and incorporates accessibility features following WCAG 2.2 guidelines. Features include keyboard navigation, text alternatives for images, logical navigation structure, and color contrast for readability. If you encounter any digital accessibility challenges, please let me know.

High Heart Reiki is a proudly inclusive and affirming practice. All bodies, all identities, and all backgrounds are welcome here, without exception. The pride flag on my door isn't decoration. It's a promise.
