Hi, I'm Sara - welcome!

I’m Sara Christian, a Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master and registered nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience. I live in Lakeville, MA with my husband and our daughter - and I bring all of who I am into this work.

My introduction to energy healing came while working as a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, where I became trained in Therapeutic Touch. The idea that we could support healing through intention and presence, and not just procedure, never left me. 

My nursing journey has taken me through some of the most profound human experiences medicine holds. I spent five years in bone marrow transplant, five years as an oncology infusion nurse, and three years as an oncology nurse navigator, before landing in my current role as an outpatient obstetrics and gynecology nurse. 

In oncology, I've sat with cancer patients and the caregivers who love them through some of their hardest days, and I carry that with me. And in OB/GYN, it's fear and joy tangled together - someone anxious about their baby on one hand, and counting down to meeting them on the other.

That nursing background shapes how I practice Reiki, but so does my own story, and it's the fertility journey that I understand most intimately, because I've lived it myself. 

Infertility brought me to my knees in ways I didn’t expect... the anxiety, the depression, the loss of trust in my own body. Reiki found me there. And then, after multiple miscarriages and IVF, there came pregnancy, and with it a different kind of anxiety - the vigilance, the fear underneath the joy, the constant low hum of worry that came with wanting something this badly and finally having it. Reiki held me through that too. 

About ten years ago I was introduced to Reiki, and what began as curiosity became a calling. I began my training Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki in 2022 with level I, completed Level II in 2024, and became a Reiki Master in April 2026, all under the guidance of my teacher Caroline Paradis, Reiki Master.

The Reiki that I offer here is because of everything being a nurse has taught me about the human body, everything my past has taught me about the human spirit, and the sacred space where the two meet. And I would be honored to hold that space for you.​
