I came to Reiki through oncology. For a decade, I sat with patients through chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants, and the quiet fear that lives between appointments. I watched Reiki volunteers bring stillness into rooms that felt anything but still - and it changed me. I understand the landscape you’re navigating - the appointments, the decisions, the emotional weight of it all. And I understand that sometimes what you need most is simply a space where someone gets it - without you having to explain it. Reiki does not treat cancer. But it can offer profound support for anxiety, fatigue, emotional overwhelm, and the very human need to feel held during an impossible time.
